Arapahoe Animal Hospital has been serving clients, pets, and our community since 1954, and was originally located a few blocks west of our present Main Hospital location. In 1969, AAH moved to its present Main Hospital location at 5585 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, and into our innovatively designed present building. In those early days, our Main Hospital location was surrounded by open fields!

     In 2007, we opened Arapahoe Animal Hospital - Downtown, our second convenient hospital location, at 1730 15th Street, Boulder, in the Downtown/Pearl Street Mall area between Arapahoe Ave. and Canyon Blvd.  Our two hospitals share the same pet information data base and superb staff -- and both have ample on-site parking.  

     Arapahoe Animal Hospital is proud to have been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association  (AAHA) since 1970, consistently meeting the Association's highest level of standards. Less than 15% of small animal veterinary facilities in North America are accredited by the AAHA and can claim the distinction of being an AAHA-Accredited Member Hospital.     

     Today, Arapahoe Animal Hospital is a five-doctor, state-of-the-art veterinary facility, serving clients at two convenient Boulder locations.  We provide complete and advanced Veterinary Medical, Dental, and Surgical Services for small animals, birds, and exotics -- and are open to serve you 7 days a week, offering day and evening hours. 

     Our Main Hospital is located on one full acre of tree-shaded land, with over 1/3-acre dedicated to outdoor exercise and play yards for our canine Boarders and Doggie Day Care participants.  We offer Kennel and Pet Boarding for ALL small animals, birds, and exotics -- and a "home away from home" for your pet when you are away!

     We offer an outstanding Doggie Day Care program Monday thru Sunday --providing socialization, exercise, and canine fun, under the supervision of our caring staff.  We also carry a complete line of Hill's Prescription Diet foods as well as other excellent pet foods, and a wide variety of retail pet items, treats, and toys!  Arapahoe Animal Hospital is here for you.
