Born and raised right here in Louisville, Colorado, Dr. Richardson moved away from home to attend Augustana College where she received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Political Science in 2019.
Dr. Richardson worked throughout the midwest as a veterinary assistant and spent several weeks of her summer vacation interning at various veterinary practices in Australia from the rural Outback to the bustling city of Melbourne. After graduating from her undergraduate program, she attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated magna cum laude with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
Dr. Richardson started her veterinary journey at a mixed animal practice in the Oregon Coast where she performed surgeries on dogs, cats, horses and livestock. After a year on the coast, Dr. Richardson decided to return to the mountains of Colorado and served in a small animal general practice before joining Arapahoe Animal Hospital as an associate Veterinarian in the fall of 2025. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine surgery, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and small ruminant medicine.
In her free time Dr Richardson is an avid skier (both water and snow) along with running, hiking and any adventures she can take with her miniature Australian Shepherd, Jennie.
